Peter Bell @ putt4dough 2018

Peter Bell was special guest at putt4dough 2018.  He spoke of his Korean start in life, his adoption, and his dream always to be a professional footballer. His presentation was inspiring and entertaining, impeccably delivered with anecdotes and a good chunk of humour.  After his talk, Peter stayed on to meet the putt4dough winners, and help present the big cheque for the donation to Perth Children's Hospital Foundation. 33 sponsors from Perth's IT industry contributed 80% of the funds raised.  This year, once the coins have been counted, it is expected that $49,000 will be deposited into the Foundation's bank account to help support their early intensive intervention program. This program is aimed at delivering an integrated health care service to young infants, and their families, identified “at risk” of cerebral palsy from birth. Newcomers to the Foundation, Heiko Plange and Sarah McNamara, joined in with the organisers to make this night a big success. Karl Langdon was at his best extracting more funds from the attendees in an auction that delivered over $8,000.  The putt4dough trophy winners were Mic Henderson, Gary Softley, Jamie Herkes, and Warwick Calkin.   Thanks to all who attended and helped reach this magnificant total.
