Record Funds Raised

The 2014 putt4dough IT Charity Golf Day raised a record $48,000 for the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.  This brings the total raised since inception of putt4dough to $156,000.

More records were broken on the Golf course with the highest ever turnout of 216 golfers.  In addition another 20 or so IT industry folk attended the dinner with the golfers to participate in the networking and enjoy the talk from our very special guest speaker, former West Coast Eagles premiership captain and coach, John "Woosha" Worsfold.  PMH Foundation's Ian De Nazareth and Fiona Dickson (pictured with Woosha) joined in the fun to help get a few extra dollars out of the generous golfers during the evening dinner.

The winners on the day were Garry Martin, Michael Pascoe, John Cameron, and Tony Inga.  Full results can be found on the results page.

"We believe that it's important to remind everyone that kids are the future of our world and we couldn't think of a better way to help raise much-needed funds than a sunny day on the course" explained organiser Chris Marshall. The day was a great success and this year's funds will help purchase two High Acuity Electric Paediatric Cots for babies and small children with severe health problems.

And of course due to continuing demand to run the event for the IT industry, and PMH, Chris has advised that the 2015 event has already been booked for the 24th November. So mark it in your diary.
